RoboCup Soccer Simulation 2D

Introduction

In this simulated league two teams of 11 intelligent autonomous agents plays a soccer game in two dimensions. Each agent which represents one player receives limited information about the game situation and ought to decide his action thinking in the team as a whole.

This category has been played in Brazil since 2005. The last results are:

Remote Participation
It is possible only for non-Latin American teams to participate remotely. Remote participation requires the submission of TDP, pre-registration and the final register fee payed. If a remote team wins one of the three best postitions on the final ranking it will receive a certificate that can be sent by regular mail service or email. Please follow the instructions for regilar teams registration. After completed the registration procedures, each remote team should send its binary code to the category chair until the day assigned.
