LARC 2010 / RoboCup Latin American Open


Robocup Junior Rescue (RCJ Rescue)

Introduction

The objective of the RoboCup Junior is to present simple and interesting challenges to the primary and secondary students. In the Junior Rescue the students need to construct and program a robot able to follow a predetermined path bypassing obstacles and finding wounded persons.

In this year, there are two ways to register for the Junior Rescue cateory:

         - Brazilian teams: if your team is from Brazil, there will be regionals to define the 24 teams that will run in the finals of RoboCup Jr Rescue. These teams have to enroll in the Brazilian Robotics Olympiad (completely free of charge) and play the regional in their states. These 24 teams will be automatically classified to the RoboCup Jr Rescue Finals in São Bernanrdo do Campos.

         - non-Brazilian teams: if your team is from another world country than Brazil, please follow the guidelines in the Registration link to enroll.

The Brazilian team that wins the competition will represent the country in RoboCup Jr 2011.

Robocup Junior Dance (RCJ Dance)

Introduction

The objective of the RoboCup Junior is to present simple and interesting challenges to the primary and secondary students. In the Junior Dance the students need to construct one or more autonomous robots to a dance presentation which may have the participation of the students.

Robocup Junior Soccer (RCJ Soccer)

Introduction

The objective of the RoboCup Junior is to present simple and interesting challenges to the primary and secondary students. In the Junior Soccer the students need to prepare two autonomous robots for a soccer game.
