RoboCup Small Size Soccer (F180)

Introduction

In the RoboCup Small Soccer, also know as RoboCup F-180 two teams of 5 robots up to 150mm high and with up to 180mm in diameter plays a soccer game. The robots may be controlled remotely by a computer or may use on-board processing. Many robots in this league have a kick system. This year competition requires all teams to use SSL-Vision system.

This category has been played in Brazil since 2003. The last results are:

Rules and Attendance

Attendance:  Gaduate and Undergraduate students - professors and researchers

Judge: a computer will be provided to run the judge program. All teams must be prepared tp receive the referee commands, sent by a multicast to all teams though a network cable. Changes for 2010:               
In 2009 we started using the electronic judge system. In 2010, the Small Size Soccer League vision system SSL Vision will be used for ALL TEAMS. The event organization will provide a computer and two video cameras. The teams must be prepared to receive the data trough a network cable.
